Eco-Freezer is formulated with new HFO-1234ze propellant, with a fraction of the global warming potential (GWP) of HFC-134a based freeze sprays. Eco-Freezer is a drop-in replacement -- non-flammable, odorless, has low toxicity, and similar temperature. HFO-1234ze has a GWP of 6, compared to HFC-134a with GWP of 1300, and HFC-152a at 140. GWP is measured in relation to CO2, with CO2 GWP set at 1. Because HFO-1234ze is lighter than HFC-134a, there is more volume and blasts per can.
