Ethyl alcohol (CAS #64-17-5) is also known as ethanol. It dissolves a wide range of polar and non-polar soils, including light oils, fingerprints, cutting fluids, flux residues, carbon deposits and mold release. For electronic printed circuit board (PCB) assembly, Ethyl Alcohol wipes can be used to clean flux residues from newly soldered circuit boards or in PCB repair and rework.

Additional applications include, mobile devices, electronics cleaning, tool kits, field service, device refurbishing and workspace clean-up.
