Double edge splice tape for 12mm wide carrier tape can be used on paper or plastic tape, punched or formed pockets, and any cover tape. It is primarily used for splicing on-the-fly without removing a tape feeder from the pick and place machine. Self alignment pins that stick through the sprocket holes on an extra hard plastic cover allows for quick and easy alignment, without the need for any other alignment jigs. They can be used for any non smart feeder or any smart feeder except Panasonic, newer Yamaha, and newer Juki.
