The CBX is a wideband transceiver that operates in the frequency range of 1.2 GHz to 6 GHz and has an instantaneous bandwidth of 40 MHz. The CBX is a versatile device that can be used in various applications such as WiFi research, cellular base stations, cognitive radio research, and RADAR.

The CBX has independent local oscillators for the receive and transmit chains, which allows it to operate at multiple frequencies. The local oscillators are synchronized with the USRP master-clock, which enables coherent operation when used with MIMO-capable USRP models like the USRP N200 or USRP N210.

*Note: The user may set the receive antenna to be TX/RX or RX2. However, when using a CBX board in full-duplex mode, the receive antenna will always be set to RX2, regardless of the settings.
