Diglient USB-1608G Analog and Digital I/O USB Device
Features and Specifications
- Analog Inputs: 16 SE/8 DIFF
- Sample Rate (max): 250 kS/s
- Analog Outputs: 0
- Signal I/O: Screw Terminal
- Factory-calibrated using a NIST-traceable calibration process
The USB-1608G device offers 16-bit analog inputs, which can be configured as either eight differential (DIFF) or 16 single-ended (SE) inputs. This device also supports input voltage ranges of +/-10 V, +/-5 V, +/-2 V, and +/-1 V, all of which are software-selectable on a per-channel basis.
Additionally, the USB-1608G includes an external digital trigger input. You can choose between edge-sensitive or level-sensitive trigger modes. In edge-sensitive mode, you can configure it for either a rising or falling edge, while in level-sensitive mode, you can set it to respond to either a high or low level. By default, the trigger mode is edge-sensitive with a rising edge at power-up.
For users who require repetitive analog input trigger events, the retrigger mode allows automatic re-arming of the trigger after activation. You can configure the A/D trigger count (i.e., the number of samples per trigger) using software.
The digital I/O capabilities of the USB-1608G are versatile. It provides eight bidirectional digital I/O lines, each individually configurable for input or output. These lines can detect the state of any TTL-level input. Additionally, users can choose between pull-up (+5 V) or pull-down (0 V) configurations using an onboard jumper.
The device also features two 32-bit event counters for counting TTL pulses, accepting inputs of up to 20 MHz. And with all timer output parameters being software-selectable, the PWM timer output generates programmable pulse signals within a frequency range of 0.0149 Hz to 32 MHz.
