The Metcal DSC-6CN0010A is a long-reach desoldering tip cartridge designed for use with the MX-DS1 and CV-H5-DS desoldering handpieces. The cartridges provide data via the CV series power supplies, as the connection validation function is not required and therefore not enabled. The tips utilize Smart Heat Technology to deliver a precise amount and flow of thermal energy without the need for adjustment or calibration to either the iron or power supply.
