FLK-II915/SB140/FPC Acoustic Imager w/ Sound Beacon, 1-Yr Premium Care
SB140 Sound Beacon
The Fluke SB140 Sound Beacon is specifically crafted for applications requiring precision in detecting tightness and is designed to be used alongside Fluke acoustic imagers. It emits ultrasound at a frequency of 40 kHz, which travels through the air with minimal loss. This enables sound within an enclosed area to escape through a leak pathway and be captured by the Fluke camera for visualization. The Fluke acoustic imagers are highly sensitive to the SB140’s ultrasound frequency, allowing potential leak locations to be visually displayed on the screen. Using the imager in "Beacon Mode" simplifies the process even further, as the frequency filter is preset and focused on 40 kHz.

Reduce Downtime And Locate Leaks Visually
The all-in-one tool you have been looking for to visualize leaks, partial discharge, and mechanical issues. The ii915 Acoustic Imager empowers technicians with the ability to visualize sound while inspecting hoses, fittings, and connections for leaks. It comes equipped with an acoustic array composed of minute, highly sensitive microphones that produce a range of decibel levels for each frequency. Utilizing this data, an algorithm generates a sonic image, termed as SoundMap, which is overlaid on a visual image. The SoundMap adjusts automatically based on the chosen frequency level, effectively eliminating background noise. This makes the detection of compressed gas leaks remarkably straightforward.
First-Line Inspection to Locate Potential Mechanical Issues Early
The Fluke ii915 equipped with MecQ is revolutionizing the industry by facilitating effective scanning of expansive areas, identifying and recording potential problems for focused maintenance. Its non-contact scanning and sophisticated noise reduction capabilities make the Fluke ii915 Acoustic Imager with MecQ Mode a safe choice that provides sharp images even in environments with high noise levels. By identifying potential issues at an early stage, it gives users peace of mind and allows them to take preventative actions to avoid expensive complications, thus outperforming conventional methods.
Partial Discharge: The Invisible Threat…Now You Can See
Partial discharge, a critical problem that can result in arc flash fires, power outages, explosions, and risk to human life, is now a detectable hazard. Whether your task involves examining insulators, transformers, switch gears, or high-voltage power lines, the Fluke ii915 Acoustic Imager with PDQ Mode is your proactive instrument. This device, crafted for high-voltage electricians, electrical testing engineers, and grid maintenance crews, converts the sound of partial discharge into visual data that identifies the exact location. With a broad frequency range of 2-100 kHz, the ii915 facilitates the early identification of potential issues, enabling you to schedule maintenance and avert disastrous incidents.

ii Series Acoustic Imagers
Most manufacturers are aware of the existence of leaks in compressed air, gas, steam, and vacuum systems, but dealing with them has been a long and tiresome process. However, with the Fluke ii Series and a little bit of training, your maintenance staff can start looking for leaks as part of their regular maintenance schedule, even during the busiest operational hours. The ii Series Acoustic Imagers allow technicians to visualize sound as they examine hoses, fittings, and connections for leaks. The device’s integrated acoustic array, composed of numerous sensitive microphones, produces a range of decibel levels for each frequency.
