The grip on the LTCS (limiting torque control fixed square drive) wrench may look soft, but it is both hard and comfortable. The wrench is ergonomically friendly while the handle is easy to grip and feels very stable in your hand. This preset ratcheting click wrench comes with a dual grip configuration. It has an inner and outer grip. The inner grip is Sturtevant Richmont blue and you can see a small portion of the inner grip, giving it a stylish look.
The inner grip is made from Plastisol and has a Durometer rating of A65 +/-5/ . The outer grip comfort factor owes its characteristics to the PVC Foam construction. The Durometer says it has a Shore rating A53 +/-5.
The slightly softer handle over the harder handle provides excellent grip control while making the tool very comfortable in the operator's hand.
Preset Fixed Square Drive torque wrenches are ideal for any application where:
â– The fastener or fitting to be tightened can be engaged with a socket
â– The same torque is to be applied repeatedly
â– It is advisable to eliminate the possibility of having the operator set the wrong torque on the tool
â– A limited amount of rotation (no ratcheting) is needed to achieve the desired torque
â– High operator efficiency is needed
â– The simplicity of operation is needed
â– Very high durability is needed
The LTCS-Series tools are superb for assembly applications with constant torque values and fasteners are accessible and can be engaged with a socket.
